Choose your photographs

Add 10–12 photographs. Clear, larger faces work best. Small faces in full-body shots may look less like the person; avoid dark or blurry photos.

If you add fewer than 12 photos Each photo becomes its own coloring page with a blank back. Leftover sheets get a decorative page on each side: 10 photos gives 4 filler pages, 11 photos gives 2, and 12 photos gives none.
Printed pages Every book has 24 printed pages (12 sheets). Photo pages have blank backs so marker is less likely to bleed through; for the double-sided decorative pages, we suggest a protective sheet behind the page while coloring.

Preview first, always

Your first preview includes the cover and three selected pages. You can view the watermarked PDF and approve it before any later steps.

How we use your photos

  • We use your photos only to make your book. They are sent to Google's AI image service to create your cartoon-style characters and coloring pages. Google does not use them to improve its products, but may keep them for a limited time to prevent abuse.
  • We store your photos and book files while your book is made. We delete them from our systems 30 days after your book ships, or 30 days after your last activity if you never order.
  • Your shipping details go to our printer (Lulu), and payment and order records are handled by Shopify. They keep those under their own policies.
  • We never sell your photos.
  • You can ask us to delete your data at any time at orders@memoriesmadewell.com.
  • Only upload photos you have permission to use. You must be 18 or older to order.
